CSS3 and Your Browser
CSS3 has been in the works for quite a while but the "A grade" browsers have been slow to implement many of the new selectors. How is your current browser vendor doing? Use the CSS Selector test suite to find out!
Override Vista and XP’s Themed Buttons and Scrollbars Using a META Tag
The first thing I do to any fresh Windows XP or Vista install is change the theme to old-school "Windows Classic" theme. Square gray boxes, in my opinion, are much better than the awful "rounded", colored bars. The XP and Vista theme settings also bleed into Internet Explorer, shaping and color buttons in ways I don't want.

Prevent Double Margin & Padding In IE6 When Using CSS Float
My thoughts on Internet Explorer have been well documented; for those that don't already know, I think IE hinders the internet's progress and represents another embarrassment for Microsoft. Advanced CSS – Using A Reset.css File To Gain Complete Control
It took me about a year to feel as though I completely owned cascading style sheets. Formulating your style sheets to do exactly what you want starts with a good foundation, which is why I eventually started using a reset.css file.
Cross Browser CSS Min-Height
As you know, Internet Explorer 6 does not follow CSS' "min-height" property. Luckily, we can fix this problem using the following CSS code snippet:
Advanced CSS – Class Is Out – Avoiding Classes By Using Formatting Tags For Structure
Nothing makes me cringe more than when I see other programmers use a class declaration for every XHTML tag in their programming. Using too many CSS class declarations can result in:
