Google is finally picking up on my old domain's .htaccess file (its 301 redirects) and changing all of the old site's article URLs to this new domain. It's about time! Took about two weeks, and there are plenty of posts still over there, but I'm happy to see that.

One event that's always been lacking within the document is a signal for when the user is looking at a given tab, or another tab. When does the user switch off our site to look at something else? When do they come back?

CodePen is an amazing source of inspiration for code and design. I am blown away every day by the demos users create. As you'll see below, I have an affinity toward things that move. It was difficult to narrow down my favorites, but here they are!
One thing I love doing is duplicating OS functionalities. One of the things your OS allows you to do easily is move from one item to another. Most of the time you're simply trying to get to the next or the previous item.
